Early maturing, short day red hybrid, producing uniform bulbs with excellent skin and internal bulb colour. Transplanting at 40 to 45 days after seeding. Maturity at three months after transplanting with approximate yield of 23 tons/acre. Resistance to pink root and fusarium.
Santa Fe farm was proud to be the farm selected for the training of Rupununi farmers from villages, Rukumuta, Karasabai, Taushida, Tiger pond, Kokshebai and Pai Pang. A visit by students of Bina Hill Institute of Annai, North Rupununi. The students treated the Santa Fe Farm Team to a Cultural Show of singing and dancing.
It is not all work at Santa Fe farm. Our dedicated and hardworking team enjoy among other things, looking at movies, fishing and football. Not to be left out, the football team include the female team member who is a very talented player.
